The first global standard for health and safety management ISO 45001 was finally published on the 12th of March 2018 and was a cause for celebration for health and safety professionals across the UK.
The ISO 45001 has been designed to integrate with other ISO management systems standards, ensuring a high level of compatibility with the new versions of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
For organisations who previously had OHSAS 18001, we have been working to help them migrate over to the new and improved standard making the transition as seamless as possible.

Do I Need ISO 45001 Certification?
In almost any business it makes sense to establish a safety management system. Failure to have a robust health and safety system in place can lead to a wide range of potential issues slipping through the net such as accidents and injuries which can cost a company a great deal in repairs and settlements not to mention the damage that can be done to a reputation.
ISO 45001 certification is intended to help businesses control their occupational Health and Safety risks and has fully replaced OHSAS 18001 which is no longer in place.
A safety management system such as ISO 45001 certification is the end goal for any business that cares about health and safety in the workplace.
We will help you to identify the areas of your business which do not comply to the standard and adjust, improve and restructure them where required with minimal disruption to your operation.
After the system has been implemented, we will recommend you for the initial audit visit from an external assessment body, followed by a full system audit by one of our own auditors.
