At JR Consultants, we’re a big team with a friendly, flexible approach. People tell us that this is our biggest strength: the experience, the ability and the reach to do the job as well as anyone you’ll find, while retaining our family-based culture.
To help this we think its important for you to know who is behind the mask so here are the foundations of JR Consultants and faces of those you are most likely to meet.
Our Managing Director – Jon Hull
I have been involved in Quality Management for as long as I can remember! I first started as a quality manager for a local business but in those days quality management was referred to as BS 5750.
I have seen many changes over the years: quality management has evolved to meet current demands and regulations and to bring it in line with good business practice, thus making it much more important to achieve certification. Now with the standards all following Annex L , it is a common business tool for all types of industry.
Being with JR Consultants since the beginning has been exciting. We have grown year after year, and continue to do so with more services on offer than ever before! We have now helped over 500 businesses to achieve certification, and this figure increases each year in a multiple of disciplines. We are planning our 30th year of operation in October 2022 and I am excited for the legacy of the Company and where we are headed. I’m very proud of where we have come and the obstacles we have overcome to achieve this.
I hope you find the information on this website useful, but please, if you have any questions feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer them for you.
Director – Natalie Hull
I have been with JR Consultants for over 18 years now and prior to this I grew up never knowing what it was my dad actually did. I have since learnt that ISO can be adaptable and essentially outlines a benchmark that we need to follow. My years of experience have allowed me to realise that ISO is a tool for all businesses in the common market and I very much enjoy helping people work towards them.
Before the times of social media and Google I can remember delivering leaflets for him at a young age to help him offer his services to local clients, To me, then, it was just a game but now I find myself going into these businesses and auditing their systems because of that leaflet I posted all that time ago. Little did I know at the time I was helping my dad expand his business, or my future, and I am very excited to see what the future holds for us moving forward.
Director – Nicola Hull
I too, like my sister, have also been with JR Consultants for over 18 years and remember the Sunday mornings spent running round industrial estates, racing each other to get to that letter box first. As a result we’ve built up a successful business that works with a wide range of industries with no job too big or small.
JR Consultants has evolved a lot since my sister and I have been involved and I too, like my Dad am proud of where we are and how far we have come. We enjoy making ISO as easy as possible for everyone to understand and I personally enjoy helping businesses working towards the ISO standards and enjoy the challenges I face on a day to day basis.
Or goal now is to continue on and to continue to build the Legacy our Dad has created through JR Consultants. We bring a new way to ISO and its methodologies through our approaches and thinking and we look forward to working with you.

In this day and age, there is more focus than ever on the environment, and this is reflected in the way that both individuals and organisations decide where they will buy from, the services they will use and who they will and will not deal with. The ISO 14001 standard is an effective way for […]
ISO 9001 Corrective Action Vs Preventive Action
Corrective action and preventative action (often referred to as CAPA) work to improve the processes of organisations through a set of measures which aim to eliminate the causes of recurring non-conformances and other unwanted situations. Some companies struggle with implementing effective systems for corrective actions or are of the opinion that it is a waste […]
Why Use A Certified ISO System – UKAS and non-UKAS
Achieving certification for one of the international or ISO standards such as ISO 14001 (environmental), ISO 45001 (occupational health & safety) or ISO 9001 standard (quality) can be hugely beneficial for many organisations. Over recent years and occurring more frequently is the number of instances where businesses have paid for and gone through processes to […]
